SPECIAL EVENT: An Orkney Afternoon
On December 20th from 2-5 p.m., The Caledonian Society has been invited to an afternoon with the Rev. Fiona Lillie at the Christ Church Uniting, 1300 Kailua Road, Kailua. Rev. Lillie is an exchange minister from Orkney. The CCU congregation would like to give her a Scottish treat of music and dance, and she, in turn, will talk about the Orkney Islands and the Church of Scotland’s international outreach. This is an opportunity to learn more about Orkney and share some fellowship with the CCU congregation to which a former Caledonian Society founding member, Iris Lozier, belonged. The church will provide Christmas cookies and beverages. It would be nice to have a good representation of us Scots.
