CALEDONIANS and VISAWUS
VISAWUS (Victorian Interdisciplinary Studies Association of the Western United
States), a scholarly organization, holds its annual conference in Honolulu,
October 27-30, 2010. See the full conference program posted here. Conference
organizer is Dr Richard Fulton, a Society member.
The Caledonian Society is helping to sponsor 1) the lecture on Wed, Oct 27, at
the Old Archives Bldg (adjoining Iolani Palace) and 2) the series of panels on
Robert Louis Stevenson on Sat. Oct 30 at the Pacific Beach Hotel. The public is
invited to both these events.

Caledonian Society members may also attend most of the other presentations at
the conference IF they have a special nametag identifying them as members of the

to arrange to get a nametag. Major meals are not included in this invitation,
but parking validation at the Pacific Beach Hotel is included.
