Burns Night, 2024

Burns Night, to celebrate the birthday of Scotland's national bard, is set for January 27, 2024, at the Oahu Country Club.

The layout of the room has been changed so there will be good views for all who attend.

Cocktails will begin at 5:30pm with the Call to Dinner at approximately 6:15pm.

Please note that the Society is not allowed to bring in any of our own whisky or other alcoholic beverages.
With the price of a dinner ticket, the Society will provide scrip for one (1) cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice. Subsequent drinks can be obtained from the bar with scrip purchased from our scrip table. Please bring cash for the bar scrip.

Locate your formal Highland clothing to be sure that after 2 years it is ready to wear at our premier event of the year.

The program will have all the traditional parts, including music by the pipe band, Scottish fiddling, readings of Burns poems, the Toast to the Immortal Memory of Robert Burns and The Toast to the Haggis.

Robert Burns, who lived from 1759 to 1796, was a social person, to whom friendship mattered greatly. It is appropriate for us to celebrate with old friends and to make new ones as we commemorate the poet's skill, achievements and conviviality.

The event is SOLD OUT.
